Minor Flood Warning For The Isaac River

MINOR FLOODING EASING AT YATTON
Minor flooding is easing along the Isaac River at Yatton after a moderate flood peak was observed during Sunday morning. Flooding and elevated river levels have eased along the Connors River.
As the flood peak moves downstream, river levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level at forecast locations along the Mackenzie and Lower Fitzroy Rivers.

Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Isaac River at Yatton.
The Isaac River at Yatton peaked at 11.31 m around 9:00 am Sunday, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 9.42 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Isaac River at Yatton is likely to remain above the minor flood level (7.50 m) for the remainder of Monday into Tuesday.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
