Warning for the following areas:
Flinders and North East Pastoral
Warning for the following areas:
Riverland, Mid North and North West Pastoral

Safety Advice:
Extreme heatwaves can be dangerous for everyone.
Severe heatwaves can be dangerous for many people, especially older people, babies, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with medical conditions and people who are unwell.
Seek a place to keep cool, such as your home, a library, community centre or shopping centre.
Close your windows and draw blinds, curtains or awnings early in the day to keep the heat out of your home.
If available, use fans or air-conditioners to keep cool.
Maximum temperatures broadly in the low to high forties on Friday, moderating slightly to the mid thirties to mid forties on Saturday, then decreasing more significantly on Sunday. Overnight minimum temperatures in the high twenties to low thirties across the pastoral areas and in the mid teens to mid twenties otherwise.
Severe to locally extreme heatwave conditions will persist over the next few days before easing by Sunday as a milder southwesterly flow extends across the state.
Although the warning for Yorke Peninsula and Murraylands has been cancelled hot conditions will continue on Friday until a cool change moves through in the late afternoon and evening.
Locations likely to be impacted include Clare, Hawker, Jamestown, Leigh Creek, Moomba, Marree, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Renmark and Roxby Downs.
The next heatwave warning will be issued by 3:00pm CDT on Saturday 31 January 2026
