MINOR FLOODING EASING AT BASIN CREEK AND JARRAHMOND
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Tuesday morning has caused river level rises and flooding across the Snowy River catchment, which is now easing.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Snowy River downstream of McKillops Bridge:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Snowy River downstream of McKillops Bridge.
The Snowy River at Basin Creek is currently at 4.00 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Snowy River at Basin Creek is likely to fall below the minor flood level (3.50 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.

The Snowy River at Jarrahmond is currently at 4.40 m and falling slowly, with minor flooding.
The Snowy River at Jarrahmond is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.10 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING ALONG THE MITCHELL RIVER
River levels along the Mitchell River at Glenaladale and Bairnsdale are expected to continue easing over the next few days.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Wonnangatta River:
River levels are easing along the Wonnangatta River.
Mitchell River to Glenaladale:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Mitchell River at Glenaladale.
The Mitchell River at Glenaladale is currently at 2.83 m and falling, below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
The Mitchell River at Glenaladale is expected to remain below the minor flood level.

Mitchell River downstream of Glenaladale:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Mitchell River downstream of Glenaladale.
The Mitchell River at Bairnsdale is currently at 5.38 m and falling, below the minor flood level (5.60 m).
The Mitchell River at Bairnsdale is expected to remain below the minor flood level.

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING ALONG THE AVON RIVER
River levels across the Avon River catchment are expected to continue easing over the next few days.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Avon River:
Flooding is no occurring along the Avon River.

The Avon River at Stratford peaked at 5.56 m around 6:15 pm Thursday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 3.90 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Avon River at Stratford is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.50 m).
