FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED ALONG THE HERBERT RIVER
Flooding has eased along the Herbert River. Small renewed rises are occurring along the lower Herbert River at Halifax, but are not expected to reach the minor flood level.
No significant rainfall was recorded in the last 48 hours. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Flooding has eased.
No current river level observations are available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is expected to have fallen below the minor flood level during Thursday evening and to continue falling.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.50 m).

Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Flooding has eased, with small renewed rises occurring at Halifax.
Renewed rises along the Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge peaked below the minor flood level during Thursday evening. The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 4.57 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).

The Herbert River at Halifax is currently at 2.61 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Herbert River at Halifax is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Final Flood Warning For The Upper Burdekin River

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT SELLHEIM (MACROSSAN BRIDGE)
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been recorded over the last few days, causing significant river level rises along the upper Burdekin River and its tributaries. A below minor peak was observed at Sellheim (Macrossan Bridge) overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
River level rises are likely along the Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam, but are expected to remain below the minor flood levels.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the Burdekin River catchment over the next few days.

Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is no longer expected at Sellheim (Macrossan Bridge). Minor flooding is easing at Mt Fullstop.
The Burdekin River at Sellheim (Macrossan Bridge) peaked below the minor flood level early Thursday morning. The river is currently at 9.45 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Burdekin River at Sellheim (Macrossan Bridge) is expected to remain below the minor flood level (12.00 m).
